Is a 2oz Vitamin C Serum Better Value Than the Usual 1oz Bottle?

A 2oz vitamin C serum available in multi-packs. We have not tested it, so there is no Vibe Score. The interesting question here is bottle size versus oxidation, and we go into that below.
$92.98
What worked
- Vitamin C is among the better-evidenced actives for brightness and antioxidant protection
- 2oz is roughly double a standard serum bottle
- Sold in 1, 2 or 3 packs so you can buy to your actual usage rate
- Manufacturer states 6 to 8 weeks per bottle at daily use
Tradeoffs
- Vitamin C oxidises after opening — a bigger bottle is a liability if you are a light user
- No published concentration or form of vitamin C, which determines stability
- We have not assessed colour, scent or whether it pills under SPF
- Multi-packs only make sense if you can store the spares sealed and cool
Who it's for
A 2oz bottle sold in 1, 2 or 3 packs so you can match quantity to how fast you get through it

The bottle size trade-off nobody mentions
Vitamin C serums are normally sold in 1oz bottles for a reason: the active oxidises once air gets to it, losing potency over weeks. Doubling the bottle only saves money if you finish it before that happens. At the manufacturer’s own figure of 6 to 8 weeks per bottle with twice-daily use, a single 2oz bottle is sensible. A 3 pack is a five month commitment, and the last bottle needs to be stored properly to still be worth using.
What is missing from the listing
Neither the concentration nor the form of vitamin C is published. Both matter: L-ascorbic acid is the best studied and the least stable, while derivatives are gentler and more stable but generally weaker. Without knowing which is in here, we cannot tell you where it sits on that trade-off, and we are not going to guess.
Testing Status
We have not finished testing this one yet. It is in the queue, and this page will carry a Vibe Score and per-category results once we have used it for at least 7 days. Everything below comes from the manufacturer specification and from comparing it against products we have tested — not from hands-on measurement.
Why there is no score yet. We do not publish a Vibe Score for a product we have not used. When we do, it comes with the per-category results behind it. Read our full methodology.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you know if vitamin C has oxidised?
It usually turns from clear or pale straw to orange or brown. Oxidised vitamin C is not dangerous, it just stops doing much. That colour shift is the practical reason to be cautious about very large bottles.
Should you buy the 3 pack?
Only if you use it twice daily and can keep the spares sealed and out of the light. At 6 to 8 weeks a bottle, a 3 pack is roughly a five month commitment.
Morning or night?
Vitamin C is conventionally a morning product because its antioxidant effect complements sunscreen. It does not replace sunscreen.
Why is there no Vibe Score?
We have not used it for our minimum seven days. We do not publish a score for a product we have not tested.
